Panther felt is an interesting fabric made of Pre-ox and PBI. The PBI fibers in the middle give a strong base for the felting of the pre-ox. The result is a cloth that will resist 1800 degrees sustained heat (or about twice what we need), is soft, inherently flame resistant, washable, and pretty tough. It can be used for safety towels, or as a wick; making this one of the most workable fabrics available. 53 inches wide, price by the yard.
