Rather, Obtainium is a classification of any materials that are "obtained" through some other means than buying and selling. In short, our Obtainium offerings are perfectly good, unused scraps that we cannot use but don't want to just throw away.

We look at it as an opportunity to further reduce our minuscule landfill footprint, while giving artists, hobbyists, or whoever, the chance to easily obtain usable materials.
