When we moved over to this new site, a lot of tools didn’t make the transition. The short of it is, we moved over tools by popularity, biggest sellers first. Now we have a list of tools that aren’t on the site and I have more time to add. So I thought I’d make this a little more Democratic (and play with the WP poll feature). If you could only bring back ONE tool, which would it be?
Which tool should be added back to the site?

Thanks for playing, and please pass this along to your friends.
Okay, so our new shopping cart software suggests the use of something called Jetpack, a kind of swiss army plugin that really does a lot of stuff for your store. Unfortunately it kinda hates all other software, so I’ve been carefully replacing the things I want, one at a time, and so far, I’ve been pretty lucky. the latest mod allows people to post links on Facebook and have the correct picture come up (with a default picture I can set). Tested and works well.
However, I expect, as I keep adding plug-ins, eventually two will tangle and we’ll see strange site problems. So, just a reminder, send a note through the contact page, or to ted@ any bearclaw domain and let us know if things are wonky.
Thanks to a nice influx of business (like someone turned on the neon or something), I have a little available spending cash. So, what better thing to spend it on than the website? Introducing USPS shipping and Burn club delivery. USPS now calculated the actual price of shipping rather than our former, flat-rate guesswork method. And also, for the folks in LA, you can save a little bit by selecting Burn club Delivery and pick up your order there.
Okay, the store is pretty much as I like it, Hope you like it too. Please let me know if you have problems, or would like to see things that we forgot to migrate over.
And speaking of new toys, here’s what’s on the workbench:
Devil Stix- a new lighter weight version that’s a lot stiffer and snappier for pro users.
Hollow eating torches – we support the new moves!
Fangers (still working on the title) a simple device that turns a set of fire fingers into a pair of fans.
The down side to the website is that all the goo-gaws conflicted with the old site and we had to take it down. In the process, we lost the user list for the newsletter, so we’ll have to rebuild the whole thing again. You can get on the newsletter list at the bottom of any store page or click here.
Yes, finally after years of patching the old one together, we have a new store.
To get started right away, just pop down the “shop” menu and see the category options.
For those interested, this is a modified 2011 theme fronting for Woocommerce. we’ve made a few tweaks (like that nasty ole top banner bug), and added a few Wc plug ins to get ‘er going. We’ve already had a successful paypal test, so we’re off tot he races! Now, I know the first thing you’re gonna ask. Yes, we plan on USPS shipping with actual quotes at some point, but, the down side is that all the items currently for sale have been manually entered. And I’m sure I forgot a few bits of data here and thee to make the USPS shipping work properly. Plus, it’s a slightly pricey package, so we’ll have to wait for a few good orders.
The old cart is still active so all those old links will still work, unfortunately. the two carts don’t work together, so, once we have all the data off the old site, we’ll have to crash it. Somehow, I’ll do what I can to save it. Anyway, Enjoy!
