So, business has slowed down a bit. Okay, whole lot. And I was poking around the admin section and saw one of the reasons why. Someone was trying to order and was experiencing a problem, getting sent back to the checkout screen over and over. I sent her an email, but could otherwise do nothing at all. Then I watched her log off, presumably to order from a competitor. *sigh*…. Can’t have this.
So, I’m putting in trouble tickets with the guy I bought the package from, but I don’t think it’ll help. So, as a patch, I’m shutting off the automatic Paypal payment gateway, leaving Cash as the only option. For anyone not wanting to pay cash, we can send a paypal money request manually for now.
In the mean time, I think we’re going to look at the idea of a completely new shopping cart experience… as soon as we can afford to buy a new one.
